This person got into a left turn lane that ends within a block of the stop light. There is another lane next to it that continues down the street. People use the short lane to try to get ahead of everyone waiting in the proper lane. This asshat decided that he was going to shove me out of the proper lane, into oncoming traffic because I didn't leave space for him to cut across the solid white lane to get in front of me. No signal, no lights in the rain, and he didn't stop when I honked to let him know that I was already occupying that space. I had to slam on my brakes in a very dangerous spot since other people behind him were doing the same thing to people behind me. I should have let him hit me. I did report him to the police, though I didn't file an official complaint- this time. I've seen him do it before to other people, and he ends up at the next red light every time. Sad thing is, he goes straight at that light, and all the people he cut off turn left, so he didn't actually get ahead of anyone at all.
